Spent a delightful weekend at a modern hotel not too far from the airport. The location was perfect as it was only a short ride away from a beautiful beach. The only thing that let our experience down was the expensive taxi fares on the island. Although the hotel itself was modern, accessible, and had amiable owners, the taxi fares were exorbitant, sometimes doubling the charges of the EU capital cities.
